An outstanding cross town rivalry game vs Cottondale to open the season did not let fans down. A great Trent to Tyrome alley oop electrified Tiger Nation early. Trent Forrest led with 27 points and a 2nd half Tomahawk dunk that rattled the Cottondale gym. The Tigers played aggressively and a good week of solid practice helped Chipley execute on both ends of the floor. Justin Campbell was a force around the basket and freshman Noah Gustason helped relieve Justin in post play. Your Tigers return home for opening night to play a district game vs Freeport. JV at 6:00, Varsity at 7:30. Holmes County vs Snead will open the night at 4:30. Thanks to Tiger Nation for a huge turnout and the team will be looking forward to seeing everyone again on Monday night.

Tigers split the preseason games in the Rutherford Pre-Season Classic. In the first preseason game, Tigers won 73-61 over 5A Bay. In the second preseason game, your Tigers started out strong against a powerhouse Rutherford squad building a nice lead, but could not hold on for the win. Huge shoutout to Tiger Nation for their turnout in support of the team. Trent Forrest led all scorers with a triple double (35 points). This Friday's Cottondale game will be at Cottondale due to a schedule conflict. Go Tigers!
