A rivalry game at it's best vs the Malone Tigers. The Chipley squad had a double digit lead until Malone Senior Tay Johnson took his team on his back and went on a scoring spree. He put on a scoring and shooting exhibition, scoring from all areas of the floor, collecting 40 points in the effort. The reigning 1A champs showed why the were last year's State Champs. The Chipley squad had a balanced attack with 4 players in double figures. A great road win for the Chipley Tigers!!

As expected, another great night of high school basketball vs cross town rival Graceville. In a packed house, the Tigers made a gallant effort in the fourth quarter, but came up short to a hot Graceville team. Trent Forrest led all scorers with 33 and Justin Campbell chipped in 16. Your Tigers will head back to the den to rest and get ready for a match up against the reigning state champs, Malone, and a powerhouse Dothan Alabama squad. Thanks to everyone for the incredible support.

A rivalry game at Vernon was intense from the beginning. the Tigers jumped on Vernon early and never looked back. The Tiger defense was smothering and suffocating. The Vernon offense was held to 2 points in the first quarter. Chipley 43 34 77
Marianna 28 33 61

Tiger Scoring: Forrest 31, Campbell 20, Sims 11, Sharpe 7, Floyd 5, Gustason 3.

In front of a packed house at the Marianna gym, Tiger Nation witnessed an exciting and entertaining high school basketball game. Trent Forrest started the game by electrifying the crowd with his 3 point shooting, moves to the basket, and explosive dunks. The Tigers played great team defense with Darren Stewart leading the charge. He dove into the stands, jumped over the scoring table, and was airborne the entire night. His defense was contagious and energized the rest of the team. The Tigers will head back to the den to prepare for another cross-town rivalry game at Vernon Thursday night. Thank you Tiger Nation for a great turnout. Hope to see everyone in Vernon in full force as the Tigers continue to play on the road. Go Tigers!!
